The Honor 200 Pro is the higher-end model of Honor's 2024 pair, released on May 31, 2024 at €799 in Europe. It has a curved 6.78-inch display, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and wireless charging. It suits buyers who want a camera-led phone with very fast charging.
The phone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (4 nm) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The standard Honor 200 uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. SpecHub has not benchmarked the phone.
The 6.78-inch OLED display has 1224 x 2700 pixels, dual curved edges and a 120Hz refresh rate. Honor rates the peak brightness at up to 4,000 nits.
The rear cameras are a 50MP main (f/1.9, 1/1.3-inch sensor, optical stabilisation), a 50MP telephoto (f/2.4, 2.5x optical zoom, optical stabilisation) and a 12MP ultrawide (f/2.2, 112 degrees). The front camera is 50MP with a 2MP depth sensor. SpecHub has not tested image quality.
The battery is 5200 mAh with 100W wired charging, 66W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging. We have no endurance or charge-time tests.
The phone launched with Android 14 and MagicOS 8.0. It has dual Nano-SIM and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Sources disagree on its dust and splash rating, so none is listed here.
Buyers who want fast wired and wireless charging, a telephoto lens and a high-end chip in a mid-priced phone will find it a good fit.
People who want a confirmed water-resistance rating or newer software should look at the Honor 400 Pro. Those who prefer a flat screen may prefer the Honor 200.
The Honor 200 Pro stands out for its 100W and 66W charging and flexible camera set. The unclear durability rating and older software are the main caveats.
