The Honor 400 is the standard model of Honor's 2025 line, released on May 23, 2025 at €499 in Europe. It has a 200MP main camera, a 5300 mAh silicon-carbon battery and a slim 7.3 mm body. It suits buyers who want a long-lasting mid-range phone with a high-resolution camera.
The phone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (4 nm) with 8GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Honor 400 Pro uses the faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. SpecHub has not benchmarked the phone.
The 6.55-inch AMOLED display has 1264 x 2736 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is a flat panel, and its size is slightly smaller than the Honor 200's 6.7 inches.
The rear cameras are a 200MP main (f/1.9, 1/1.4-inch sensor, optical stabilisation) and a 12MP ultrawide. The front camera is 50MP. There is no telephoto lens, which the Honor 400 Pro adds. SpecHub has not tested image quality.
The battery is 5300 mAh silicon-carbon with 66W wired charging and reverse wired charging. Wireless charging is not supported. We have no endurance or charge-time tests.
The phone launched with Android 15 and MagicOS 9.0. It is rated IP65 for dust and splash resistance, and has dual Nano-SIM and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Buyers who want a large battery, a thin body and a high-resolution main camera at a mid-range price will find it a good fit.
People who want a telephoto lens, wireless charging or a flagship chip should look at the Honor 400 Pro.
The Honor 400 pairs a 200MP camera and a big battery with a slim, light body at a mid-range price. It lacks a telephoto lens and wireless charging.
