This is an editorial analysis of the specifications listed on this page. It is not based on SpecHub lab testing, so it makes no claims about benchmarks, battery life or camera results.
The RedMagic 10 Pro+ is the oldest phone in this group, released in November 2024 and listed at $899 on this page. It combines a 6.85-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen with an under-display selfie camera, an active cooling fan, shoulder triggers and a 7050mAh battery with 120W charging.
It is aimed at gamers who want fast charging and a high-memory configuration, and and for buyers considering an earlier-generation model.
The phone uses the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite with an Adreno 830 GPU. The newer 10S Pro and 10S Pro+ pages list a Leading Version of the same chip at up to 4.47GHz, whereas this page lists the CPU only as octa-core with no clock speed, so we cannot make a numeric comparison.
RAM is listed as 16GB or 24GB and storage as 512GB or 1TB, so there are no entry-level memory tiers. There is no memory card slot. RedMagic describes an ICE cooling system with a high-speed fan for stable performance, but no fan speed is listed here, and SpecHub has not tested sustained performance.
The 6.85-inch AMOLED panel has a 1216 x 2688 resolution (around 430 pixels per inch) and a 144Hz refresh rate. The bezels are slim, and the 16MP selfie camera is under the display so nothing interrupts the screen.
A 144Hz rate benefits fast-moving games and animations when the content supports it. The same screen specifications appear on the later 10S and 11 models, so choosing this one does not mean a display downgrade.
The cameras are a 50MP main with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro and the 16MP under-display front camera. There is no telephoto lens listed. The page states that the cameras prioritise gaming over photography.
SpecHub has not tested this phone's photos or video, so we do not comment on image quality. As with other RedMagic models, it is best treated as a gaming phone that can also take everyday photos.
The 7050mAh battery is combined with 120W wired charging. Among the phones on this page set, only the 10S Pro+ also lists 120W, and the other three list 80W. There is no wireless charging.
We have no battery endurance or charge-time measurements. The 120W figure is a maximum rating, and real charging speed depends on the charger and the phone's charging management.
The phone ships with Android 15, but the page does not name the RedMagic OS version. As the oldest model here, it is worth checking whether it can be updated to a newer Android release. It supports 5G on Sub-6GHz bands, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, with dual Nano-SIM.
RGB lighting and gaming shoulder triggers are part of the design. No IP rating is given in the table, so assume it has no confirmed water or dust resistance.
Gamers who value fast 120W charging and a high memory baseline, and who are comfortable with a phone from the previous generation, are the main audience. It could also appeal to buyers who find it at a lower street price than the newer models.
The 10S Pro+ lists a newer chip variant and a 7500mAh battery, but we could not confirm its availability outside China. Those who want the newest Android version should look at the 11-series models. Buyers who need wireless charging, a documented IP rating or a stronger camera system have better options outside the gaming category.
The 10 Pro+ remains a capable gaming phone on paper, with a large AMOLED screen, 120W charging and a fan-cooled design. Its age is its main weakness, since the 10S Pro+ lists a newer chip and larger battery. It is best considered if you find it at a good price rather than at the listed $899.
