The battery differs by market: GSMArena lists 5,800mAh for the global model and 5,220mAh for an Austria-only model. IP69 is market dependent. The vivo X200 Pro is a separate, larger model.

The vivo X200 was announced in China on October 14, 2024 and released there on October 19. It reached global markets from November 19, 2024, starting in Malaysia, and launched in India in December 2024. It is the more compact of vivo's X200 flagships, with a 6.67-inch OLED display, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and a triple 50MP ZEISS camera.
GSMArena lists a 5,800mAh battery for the global model and a 5,220mAh version sold only in Austria. The larger vivo X200 Pro has a 200MP periscope telephoto and a 6.78-inch screen, and the vivo X300 is its successor.
The chipset is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 (3 nm) with one 3.626GHz Cortex-X925 core, three 3.3GHz Cortex-X4 cores and four 2.4GHz Cortex-A720 cores, plus an Immortalis-G925 GPU. vivo lists LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, with 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB versions and no expandable storage.
SpecHub has not run benchmarks or thermal tests, so no performance claim is made here.
The display is a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED (1260 x 2800 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate and a quad-curved design, down in size from the 6.78-inch screen of the previous generation, according to GSMArena. vivo lists a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits, which is a listed figure and not a SpecHub measurement.
The 32MP front camera and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor complete the front hardware.
The rear system has three 50MP cameras co-engineered with ZEISS: a main (1/1.56-inch, optical stabilisation), a 3x telephoto (1/1.95-inch, f/2.57, optical stabilisation, telemacro) and an ultrawide. Sensor model names differ between sources and are not listed.
SpecHub has not tested photo or video quality, so no image-quality claim is made.
The global X200 has a 5,800mAh battery and vivo lists 90W wired charging. GSMArena notes an Austria-only model with 5,220mAh. No wireless charging is listed. SpecHub has not run battery-life tests, so no endurance claim is made here.
The phone launched with Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15. 91mobiles lists 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security updates. It is rated IP68 and IP69 (the IP69 rating depends on the market) and is 7.99 mm thick.
People who want a compact, light camera flagship with a flagship chipset, 90W charging and strong water resistance will find the most to like.
Buyers who want a periscope telephoto and wireless charging should look at the vivo X200 Pro, and buyers who want a newer model should look at the vivo X300. Buyers in Austria should check the battery size.
On paper, the X200 is a compact, lightweight flagship with a large battery, fast wired charging, a 3x telephoto and a high water-resistance rating, without wireless charging. It suits people who want a smaller camera phone.
