Phone Overview
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is the top model of Samsung's 2026 S-series, announced on February 25, 2026. It has a 6.9-inch QHD+ display, a built-in S Pen, a four-camera rear system with a 200MP main sensor, and a Privacy Display feature. It is aimed at buyers who want the most capable Galaxy, including note-taking and long zoom.
Performance and Processor
It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy in all markets, unlike the S26 and S26+, which also use the Exynos 2600 in some regions. RAM is 12GB, or 16GB on the 1TB version, and storage is 256GB, 512GB or 1TB. SpecHub has not benchmarked the phone.
Display Experience
The 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display has 1440 x 3120 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Samsung's Privacy Display feature limits how well the screen can be seen from the side. Samsung has acknowledged that the screen can look slightly dimmer than the Galaxy S25 Ultra's, especially at maximum brightness when viewed at an angle.
Camera Experience
The rear system has a 200MP wide camera, a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP telephoto and a 10MP telephoto. Two telephoto lenses give more zoom options than the S26 and S26+, which have one. Aperture, zoom ratio and front-camera details are omitted because we could not verify them. SpecHub has not tested image quality.
Battery and Charging
The battery is 5000 mAh. Wired charging goes up to 60W, which Samsung says reaches about 75% in 30 minutes with a 60W adapter, and wireless charging is 25W. We have no endurance tests.
Software and Features
The phone ships with Android 16 and Samsung's One UI, and includes a built-in S Pen. SIM options vary by market, with dual Nano-SIM and eSIM listed. Update-policy and water-resistance ratings are not listed here because they were not verified for this model.
