This is an editorial analysis of the specifications listed on this page. It is not based on SpecHub lab testing, so it makes no claims about benchmarks, battery life or camera results. Manufacturer lab figures are not reproduced here.
The Xiaomi POCO F6 Pro was announced and released on May 23, 2024. It is the higher-end model in POCO's F6 line, pairing a 6.67-inch 1440 x 3200 AMOLED display with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery and 120W charging.
GSMArena's review says it stays true to POCO's value-for-money approach and describes it as the "flagship" of the lineup. It has a triple rear camera led by a 50MP main sensor.
The chipset is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) with an Adreno 740 GPU. RAM is 12GB or 16GB (LPDDR5X per two sources), with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage and no card slot. Sources disagree on the exact chip model code, so none is shown. SpecHub has not run benchmarks, so no performance claim is made here.
The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED at 1440 x 3200 pixels (about 526 pixels per inch) with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, Dolby Vision and HDR10+. GSMArena lists 700 nits typical, 1,200 nits in high-brightness mode and 4,000 nits peak, which are listed figures and not SpecHub measurements.
Protection is Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The front camera is 16MP.
The rear cameras are a 50MP main (f/1.6, optical stabilisation), an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro. There is no telephoto lens. Other camera details, such as video modes, were not confirmed from more than one source and are not listed.
SpecHub has not tested photo or video quality.
The battery is 5,000mAh with 120W wired charging (PD3.0, QC3+), which GSMArena lists as reaching 100% in 19 minutes. That is a stated figure and not a SpecHub test. No wireless charging is listed.
SpecHub has not run battery-life tests, so no endurance claim is made here.
The phone launched with Android 14 and HyperOS, and GSMArena lists up to 3 major Android upgrades. It has IP54 dust and water-splash resistance, an under-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared port. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth versions were not confirmed from more than one source and are not listed.
People who want a very fast charging phone with a bright high-resolution AMOLED screen and a flagship-era chipset from a value brand will find the most to like.
Buyers who want a newer chipset, wireless charging, full water resistance or a telephoto camera should look at a later POCO model or a more expensive flagship. Buyers outside POCO's global markets should check availability first.
On paper, the POCO F6 Pro offers a high-end screen, 120W charging and a capable chipset in a value-focused package, with an older chipset generation and splash-only protection as its main trade-offs. It suits buyers who prioritise screen and charging speed over camera versatility.
